Application for the School Systems Leaders Fellowship

We are excited that you have decided to apply to join the 2017 cohort of the School Systems Leaders Fellowship. We strive to create a process that is rigorous, fair, and inspiring. Given the demanding day-to-day lives of our applicants, we aim to make the application process manageable and efficient for all applicants.

This initial application provides us critical information about you, your experiences, your passion for systems leadership, and the skills you have developed over the course of your career. Early Deadline: Sunday, February 5, 2017 at 11:59PM PST.  
Final Deadline: Monday, February 20, 2017 at 11:59PM PST.

Looking Ahead at the Application Process:
  • Early deadline applicants can expect to hear back regarding the status of their applications by mid-February.  If selected to move forward in the process, these applicants will be provided the opportunity to sign up for the next stage, a phone screen, first.  
  • Final deadline applicants can expect to hear back regarding the status of their applications by early March.
  • If applicants are invited to continue in the process they can expect to participate in a phone interview, complete an online activity, and provide reference information.  
  • The selection process culminates into an in-person selection event tentatively scheduled for April 5, 2017 in New York City.  SSLF will cover all travel expenses for candidates invited to the final selection event. We encourage all applicants to hold April 5, 2017 on their calendars for this final selection event.  All non-local candidates are strongly encouraged to hold April 4th and 6th for travel days.
